redCast
Desktop app + optional cloud

One control center for everything you stream.

redCast runs OBS, serves your overlays, merges every chat, fires your macros and keeps to your schedule, from a single window on your own machine. Sign in and the cloud adds a marketplace, settings sync across machines, and a Twitch EventSub relay. Nothing here needs the internet to work.

Overlays served from your PC

The whole broadcast, in one window

Six tools that normally mean six browser tabs, a bot, and a folder of HTML files you are afraid to touch.

OBS, driven from one panel

Scenes, sources, audio and recording state without alt-tabbing mid-stream. Connect over obs-websocket and everything reconciles both ways.

  • Scene + source switching
  • Per-source audio and mute
  • Stream, record, replay buffer

Overlays that are actually yours

Browser-source overlays served straight off the desktop app. Edit them in the builder, theme them once, and every overlay follows.

  • Alerts, cam frames, chat, widgets
  • Shared theme across the set
  • Live preview before it goes out

A marketplace of overlays and themes

Browse curated overlay sets and full themes, install one with a click, and publish your own back for other streamers.

  • One-click install into your overlays dir
  • Complete theme sets, not loose files
  • Publish and version your own

Every chat in one column

Twitch, YouTube and Kick merged into a single readable feed, with alerts routed to the overlays you already built.

  • Unified multi-platform chat
  • Follow, sub, raid, bits alerts
  • Moderation actions inline

Macros and hotkeys

Chain a scene switch, a sound, an overlay pop and a chat message into one action, then fire it from a key, a button, or a schedule.

  • Multi-step action chains
  • Global hotkeys
  • Trigger from chat or an alert

Scheduling that runs itself

Plan a stream, and redCast handles the starting-soon overlay, the countdown, the go-live and the wrap without you touching it.

  • Starting-soon and countdown automation
  • Recurring show slots
  • Auto stream start and stop

The cloud is additive, never required

Every cloud call in redCast is wrapped so that failure degrades back to offline instead of putting an error in front of you mid-stream. Sign in when you want the marketplace and sync; stay signed out and the app is exactly as capable.

Open the marketplace

Marketplace

Browse and install overlays and themes from any machine, signed in with your redbtn account.

Settings sync

Themes, macros, builder layouts and schedules follow you between machines. Tokens and passwords never leave the desktop.

EventSub relay

Twitch needs a public HTTPS callback; your PC does not have one. cast takes the webhook and relays it to your desktop over a live stream.

Link a machine in three steps

The desktop app never asks for a password. It shows a short code, you approve it here while signed in to your redbtn account, and the machine is linked for thirty days.

  1. Open redCast

Settings, Cloud, then Link this machine.

  2. Type the code

Enter the eight characters on this site at /activate.

  3. Approve

Confirm it is your machine. The desktop finishes on its own.

Go live with less in the way

Install the desktop app, point it at OBS, and drop an overlay into your scene. The cloud is there when you want it.
